for the fitness test. I complete 2 20 minute all out intervals, they felt slow, and they were slow... I would like to blame it on my sugar cookie intake over holidays. I set a record there. The weight is up a bit and I have a fair amount of work to do.

mid year post, or how I broke my new years resolution on January 3rd.
wow, So much for the new years resolution...
lots of change: new job, new bike, adopting kids, and a few races.
The new job, I left Eclipse and took a job with et alia, llc. A great consulting firm based in Milwaukee, WI. I am doing project management work on SAP implementation. Presently, I am working on an implementation in Long Beach, CA. I am in CA every other week and work from home the rest of the time.
Janine and I have decided to adopt kid from Ethiopia and have started through the process. it is exhaustive, lots of paper work and soul searching. we are done with our home study, have been accepted by an agency, and will begin putting our dossier together in the near future. Janine is going to try to set the dossier completion record, present record is 1 week. after that is complete we wait to be matched with a sibling group, we hope.
I am close to getting my new bike, an Ibis Mojo SL. it is being built up at the shop right now. Just in time to get a few rides before the leadville 100. which is next weekend.
Finally, I have had some mixed success at races this year. 4th at old pueblo, 3rd and san ysidro dirty century, 8th at dawn to dusk (after a nasty crash where another rider took me down on the first lap, yep, an excuse), 3rd at the 12 hours of Mesa Verde, 5 at Silver Rush 50...

A resolution... blog more...
One resolution for 08 is to blog more... I really had expected to use this to capture thoughts and lessons... I have been a total slacker.
07 wrap up... top ten in moab, top ten at 24ITOP, top 10 at Leadville silver rush. Hope to step that up with help from Derick and Source E this year.
